The Hollywood Reporter confirms JJ and Kevin Spacey as being attached to the film.

"Con O'Neill has signed on to portray Meek in the big screen version co-written by Moran and James Hicks. The film details the tragi-comic story of Meek, who produced No. 1 hits before murdering his landlady and turning the gun on himself in 1967.

The ensemble cast also includes Kevin Spacey, JJ Field, Tom Burke and James Corden. It shoots for six weeks in London."
