Both Telstar and Blood: The Last Vampire were previewed by Jonathan Ross on last week's (episode 12) Film 2009, with accompanying clips from the films. The programme can be watched on BBC iPlayer for a few more days, Telstar begins at around 23 minutes.
No mention was made of JJ, despite showing him in one Telstar clip, and previewing two of his films back to back.
